Absolutely fucking glorious weather here on Gubby Gubby country. Just past full moon.
Le **sigh** Sunday check-in on a Monday coz I remember yesterday, got distracted, and then forgot. Each week I feel like I'm stepping further away from FB. I spent ages trying to build community there but I get is crickets and feel is the alg suppression. I'm not after a massive following, or even monetisation, definitely do not want to be 'known by all', but is regular engagement that hard to come by? Where's my people at? Woke, queer, NDs, punks and those in-betweeners, who actually give a fk. Annnyway,... I've signed up with a few others, dipping my toes into tiktock, but straight up, I don't care to do videos, y'know. I don't care to be perfectly polished and scripted. Where do I go?
My week was another great week of continued momentum! I've now finished cataloguing the plant shelves and, ooof my heart! Thinking about what these shelves looked like two years ago, the range of plants, to what survived moving twice and almost a year of neglect 😭😭😭 so many are just gone.
Definitely a show of who's resilient, and flip side, I've a very clear idea of what specific plants are great for newbs, or those who are time sensitive. And my plants that I sell will survive much better than something grown in hyper controlled environments.
Another flipside to hitting rock bottom, is seeing how strong my foundations are, and knowing it's a great place to begin again,..again.
I've got a clear idea of what 130mm pots can be sold ‘as is’ and what needs to wait for spring to be detangled and chopped. A clear view of what our base range will look like, that we will always stock. The 130mm pot range are our ‘postable’ plants. Having the systems around these cemented first means we can manage them on auto pilot aaaaand reopen our cart while managing stock levels accurately 🙌
Looking forward, well I don't know if I'd go that far, but moving on to sorting the orgy of 200mm pots 😵💫😵💫😵💫
When we moved in over NYE, they were placed down all snug together and that's where they have stayed for six months! It's a see of leafage! They healthy and happy and I'm assuming they're all tangled and dipping in and out of each others pots. SEND SPOOOONS!! and decent jungly psy please!! Seriously send me your brain numbing bangs 🙏
