Muggy af again here this morning on Gubbi Gubbi Country, has been all week. But with a good breeze picking up most days by late morning. Not today, yet anyway.
And it's full glarey af overcast. Headache city for me. I don't mind heavy cloudy days, but bright fkn glare can ead.
How fkn shit is the state of the world, politically right now. It's so shit. It was a whole thing to hear results recently that Queensland is now LNP government, and their will be serious ramifications for many of us, while the rich get richer and more insulated than ever.
But to then hear the results from the USA is some how so much worse. And will have huge ramifications globally.
I'm scared. I'm scared for my children. I'm scared for my friends and chosen family. I'm scared for myself.
This week we had a house inspection on Friday. The general stress of that will never not affect me. But even that was a welcome stress, as a distraction from the global political tensions. I was able to move in to physical fielding mode, when I just focus on physical field in front of me, as in what I CAN do.
We also had Beltain this week. It's the cross-quarter between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. We didn't do any thing special. I meditated and honoured nature in my own ways.
We are now half way to full moon. Time to start thinking of what isn't working, what isn't serving, and be done with it, get ready to let it go.
Looking forward to heavy rain, cold showers, fruit platers, watermelons, stone fruits, overgrown garden, cuttings and subdividing plants, swimming in creeks.
