It's heavy cloudy day here on Gubbi Gubbi Country. The atmosphere drops and it feels like it about to break, then it lifts again. I feel like poking the clouds with the end of a broom like *jab jab jab* expecting it to just burst.

I'm down with chesty cold, not feeling all that fergalicious rn, and the lad is still not 100%. He's kinda back on his feet, but easily exhausted, and he lost so much weight so quickly, still looks like death warmed up.

He actually ended up breaking out in a full body rash. We took him to the doc, rudest doc I've seen in years, absolutely no respect or bedside manners, spoke over the top of me every single time I tried to ask questions. But when it's 'waiting for the next available doc' system, we don't get to choosy. They said it's a reaction to the antibiotics, which gave me heaps of questions, but we just left. Such a dick.

Anywaaaays over the last few weeks with the lad being sick, literally every thing has grinded to a complete halt. No idea what I'm supposed to be doing, or when. And now I'm down, this will carry out for another few days.

I pushed myself out into the yard this morning for damage control. Nothing to alarming. Dogshit every where, cuttings need water, others left sitting in water probably close to rotting, grass is getting out of hand, every thing is just a mess.

Like my work station, I had to walk away in a hurry the other week and I just havnt gotten back. Cuttings just left, potting tray has filled with rain, whole area is just shambles. 

Buuut before beating myself up too bad, ima flip this shit. So nothing drastic ✅

✅Long grass = lots of grass cuttings we can use to cover the bare dirt out the front

✅ Garlic seems to have died, or died back - but Purslane has popped up

✅Dog poop = dog doesn't have the runs any more 😂

✅Alot of the cuttings look to have struck.

✅ The plants I've collected recently are look good and almost ready to take cuttings.

Turmeric still hasn't shot, thinking I'll have to investigate, 🤞 it's not rotten.
