20/4/25 Aka 420!!
Check in with me, how's you?
How was your week and what are you looking forward to?
How's you floating 🪼🪼🪼
First I just need to say, Trans people are valid, I see you, I love you, they are who they say they are!!
I honestly cried at state of things this week. Is so fkd, with all the shit going on in the world right now it's more important than ever to just be kind to people, you never know what someone else is going through.

Ok, It's cool, clear and absolutely glorious weather here on Gubby Gubby country. Early mornings with windows open are crisp and fresh. It's energising.
⛧
My week has been brilliantly ordinary and uneventful. Calm, safe, productive, and self caring with many rest breaks and consideration to my physical health issues.
⛧
The clear weather has held space for me to get some major work done here repotting, organising, and I'm nearly done..*touch wood*.. setting up the Cubby house and yard space.
I'm actually so stoked at this. The amount of anxiety that comes with housing insecurity weighted on approval of how we choose to use space is fkd.
I'm a creative type that can't work in supa clean square areas. I need a bit of a rat's nest to get the juices flowing. it's this constant balancing act of is it ‘clean’ enough? I mean, its always clean, it may be a lil 'messy', but what's really asked is, *is it normal enough* to not freak out the property manager and owners.
⛧
I've had a couple of community interdependence moments this week that could lead to pushing my comfort zone in a good way.
One neighbour who we hadn't met yet, accidentally dropped a small tree limb over the fence while coppicing their Callistemon. They say us in the yard and hollered out, apologizing, and requested we throw it back over.
Me: “ No!! 🤩, you throw the rest over here! “
Them: “ what 😶”
😅😂🤣
Chatted for a bit and told them about our reluctance to really get to know neighbours after very poor neighbours in the past but also have that longing for community. I apologized for the long grass out the front ( they mow theirs once a week) and shared that our lawn mower had just died, and we were looking to get a new one as soon as we could. Then they offered us one!!! They had recently upgraded to a battery mower and while their old one was old it still had lots of life left in her and they were hoping to pass on to someone but no one they knew were in need!! Absolutely cheering!!
⛧
I'm looking forward to mowing the front lawn 😂 probably about three times next week to bring it down to a manageable hight. I'll keep it fairly high tho because there's lil frogs out there!!
Also so excited and looking forward to finishing setting up this space and then moving into the phase of sorting out the over grown plant hoard. It's been almost two years (and two house moves) since I shut down as a functional space. I miss it like a friend I haven't seen.
